Re: frequent urination in men

I do know that the weight loss I have had since starting with the Yoga

Tune-Up methods, and the consequent rearrangement of internal organs,

as they settle back into place in a thinner person, has made the

problem of frequent urination pretty much disappear.

In 2005 I started with pelvic floor physical therapy, which did a good

job of teaching me about going to the toilet, such as the proper ways

to sit or stand for the various needs.

In 2006, when I was not being helped enough by the above, I started on

Flomax, which worked OK, but even so I had to get up 4-8 times per

night, and ultimately I asked for another 10 mg of Oxycontin in order

to get through the night.

In 2010, after 2 years of yoga tune up and 40 pounds lost and so

forth, I was able to stop taking Flomax entirely, as the problems with

both types of incontinence, frequency and urgency, had resolved

themselves. I regularly sleep 5-51/2 hours before having to go to the

toilet. That's once in the middle of the night, and once about 90

minutes before I must get up.

I was also able to stop taking Omeprazole, aka Prilosec, as problems

with overproduction of acid and acid reflux have disappeared.

Hope this helps,

P.S. Oxycontin is also no longer being taken, as I have managed to

beat back the pain, too!
