Guest guest
<<my mother in law has recently started having them more often and more severe. >> HI, Everyone.....Cyndi.....migraines can also be cause by hormonal fluctuations. Young teenage girls and peri/post menopausal women may start having migraines due to their estrogen fluctuations. I know that my own Mom went on a low dose of estrogen after her hysterectomy due to migraines. When the doc tried to wean her off estrogen, the migraines came back pretty bad. She went back to the doc and threatened him with his life if he didn't write her another script for estrogen!!! Only kidding, but she made it very clear to the doc that she knew the risks of being on estrogen and that the migraines far outweighed that risk. Take care, Everyone.
