I am a firm believer that strength and balance can be rebuilt. For me

the process takes a long time - I would estimate four times longer

that I had ever dreamed it would.

I do functional strength work - lunges, squats, single leg standing. I

managed to do my first full squats ever about a month ago. A gigantic

milestone for me.

I used to do a lot of yoga but following an elbow injury in 2007

stopped. I went back 2 weeks ago and loved it. I recommend this as well.

Good luck,

Donna from London

I've seen your post before, Donna, and you are an inspiration to us all. I'm

hanging in there, but it would be a miracle if I can ever do full squats, lunges

or stand long on one leg.

I tried yoga a few years ago and it seemed like it just wasn't for me.
