Charcot joint is also called neuropathic arthopathy and it is also found in

diabetics. It can located in a number of different joints in the extremities.

My neurologosist at the MDA clinic did not give a diagnosis, but suggested it as

a possibility. I have a long history of issues with this ankle including a

tendon transfer, removal of floating cartilage, trauma, stiffness, edema, and

increased temperature. There is alot of information about " Charcot joint "

online if you do a search.
