Guest guest
We used to distill our water when we lived in Columbus, OH as they had a lot of nitrates in the water and when they warned old people and babies, I figured it was time to distill the water. but have to be distilling all the time the way we drank water. Now we just buy Spring Water at Lowe's in cases.  Does take filters and all that though. We got ours at Sears but that has been a long time. I don't know if we even have it anymore. I am not aware of where it is now.    But would be nice to have after a hurricane or something like that. Carolyn Wilkerson  To: " sproutpeople " <sproutpeople > Sent: Thursday, April 26, 2012 11:52 PM Subject: Re: Re: distilled water  Even better than magic...it is Mother Nature at her finest! Guest guest
Pam. I was researching H2g0 filters. This link came up. Is this a good deal to filter tap water? Guest guest
I am not familiar with the H2GO products, Mel you'd have to ask the person who posted on the originally. Guest guest
I'm in total agreement here. Although sunlight is an energy source, it's impossiible for water to magically convert itself (hydrogen and oxygen elements in a diatomic molecule) into other much more complex atomic elements. A living cell can turn individual elements into chains (polymers) or molecules (such as the production of C6 H12 06 glucose in a plant cell, which is simply a rejoining of H2O and CO2 molecules into glucose using sunlight energy). A cell (of any type) can only work with the elements given to it. It cannot convert one element into another, it can only 'build' molecules, or 'break' molecules. Only a massive atomic reaction e.g. that caused by the big bang would be able to create the atomic fusion required for new elements to be produced. Hence why all the elements on Earth do not naturally alter in their quantities. If only sunlight were that magical! Charlotte > > In response to an earlier post, I don't think putting water out in sunlight will remineralize water. You need to add a mineral solution and/ or a celtic natural salt that will mineralize the water. > Sent from my BlackBerry® powered by Virgin Mobile.
