Thanks . I'll do the Baking Soda and Sea Salt. I have both in the house.

Now what on earth do I do about the water? If I drink only distilled water, it

will leach stuff out of my bones. So I can't drink only distilled water.

This is not fair. They are putting stuff in our local water supply and

toothpastes and everything else.

I went to Walgreens early today.WEll!!! Did I get an education. They even had

the Toms of Maine toothpaste. THAT had fluoride. Every single toothpaste brand

had fluoride. Every mouthwash had fluoride.

Want to know what toothpaste DID NOT have any fluoride and it even indicated

FLUORIDE FREE??

The baby toothpastes. Like Baby Oragel and some other brands for toddlers.

Yeah, no Fluoride but they had Red Dye this and Blue dye that, and they ALL HAD

SORBITOL.

My god, they are going to kill us.

Hi. What if we just used Baking soda and no sea salt? Would that do anything to

clean the teeth and gums.

I also use a deodorant called Crystal which has no aluminum.

Will look into more waters.

The stuff I learn from you guys would fill the library.

lol

Is peroxide safe for use in the mouth and gums? I could swear I once read that

it was banned in some country (or something like that)

Thanks much if you can clear this up.

Peroxide is fine...I use food grade peroxide, but it MUST be diluted (which is

what I do when I put it in the spray bottle), but the cheap stuff is fine too,

just don't swallow it (not that it would hurt to swallow a tiny bit), but you

can also skip using it if you wish and just moisten with water. I sometimes

moisten with a spray of GSE (grapefruit seed extract) or colloidal silver.

Yes, just plain old baking soda is just fine, and will clean your teeth just

fine. I just like the touch of sea salt since baking soda tastes so weird to me

without it, lol. I don't recommend using ANY deodorant or especially an

antiperspirant-your body is MEANT to sweat! If you are worried about odor, just

dust your pits (or other areas) with a tiny dusting of baking soda or tapioca

starch, or wipe them periodically with a wipe moistened with peroxide and water

(I make my own wipes from unbleached cotton muslin) I make a body powder with

tapioca starch (you can easily make this yourself by buzzing up some organic

tapioca pearls in the Vitamix) or use LETS DO ORGANIC brand. I add a drop or

two of lavender or rose oil, or fresh rose petals,, fresh sprig of lavender,

etc. to the container I keep it in.

Distilled water will NOT leach minerals from your bones, provided you are

getting adequate minerals in the first place, which you are from your sprouts.

You can boost the mineral content of your water by adding a dash of true sea

salt, or throwing in a slice of cucumber (which makes the water tastes silky and

delicious anyway) I avoid ANYTHING that comes in a package, whether for

consumption or personal care...premade stuff always has fillers, stabalizers,

additives, preservatives, etc., and they aren't required to label MUCH of it!

Think about when something says it contains " sorbitol " ...well,, they only have

to list that ONE ingredient, when sorbitol itself may contain 20 ingredients!

Same with " red dye " -it is made from crushed beetles, yes-bugs) Sometimes the

ingredients IN the ingredients are scary in their own right. " Natural flavors

or color " means nothing...it can be any source, or many sources, but they are

only required to list IT as an " ingredient " without telling you the ingredients

in IT! That is why I keep it simple and make everything myself. Vitamins and

supplements are scary too--they say " vitamin XXX " without saying what the source

of that vitamin is, which could be anything!

Let me see if I got this correct. I can go out and buy distilled water, make my

True Orange drinks, add a touch of my sea salt and I'm good to go?

Really???

house.

Hey, we have the same stuff in our houses.

Good girl! Just be sure to get it from the BAKING aisle of the store...if you

get it from the laundry aisle or pool supply area, it smells and tastes like the

chemicals/detergents it is stored next to...blekkkkk!

Yep, really! If you can find spring water, that is slighly better than

distilled, but you certainly don't want bottled water that is labeled as

" purified " or " enhanced " .

Before I go and start buying some distilled water I would like to get all my

ducks in a row. You are probably one of the most knowledgable people I know

regarding one's health and well being. I don't think I could have sprouted

sunnies without the help of that music video of yours. I still hear that jingle

in my head.

But I was surfing the net and I came across this video about using distilled

water. They don't seem to agree with your views.

Have a look and give me your comments okay? Thanks much

Just a couple of points. I agree that for the " standard " diet, distilled water

would not be the best choice. But for YOUR diet, you avoid the acid forming

junk, and get loads of minerals through your lovely sprouts, so since you have

an ABUNDANCE of minerals in your diet, you are likely doing yourself a favor

drinking distilled water (but I still prefer spring water) Too MUCH minerals

can be just as harmful as too little, so you are probably right where you need

to be. You can get pH test strips to check your urine and saliva to see if your

body is too acidic-try testing it one hour after drinking a tall glass of

distilled water. I feel quite sure it will test base or alkaline, rather than

acidic. What Mercola is referring to would be it leeching from those who

already have an acidic, crappy diet. Second of all, do note that Mercola sells

" alkalzing minerals " and water filters, so professing that distilled water is

" bad " is in his financial best interest. Good info for a standard diet, but

perfectly fine for yours, in MY opinion.

Ah, and there is yet another POSITIVE point of view that I just found on the

internet. This guy LOVES distilled water and thinks everyone should live on it.

It's not a video but it's an article and a very interesting one at that.

Take a look

http://www.ecclesia.org/truth/water.html

And thanks very much .

Well here's how I have solved the fluoride toothpaste problem. I now brush with

baking soda (purchased in the baking aisle). Got a big box for ninety nine

cents. I just add a few drops of distilled water, brush my teeth (I'll go and

by some essential peppermint oil today) and that will bring the taste up to par.

But so far, I've eliminated that source from my body.

Taking baby steps. lol
