tendon replacement surgery

I was looking for any feedback. I am due to have a tendon

replaced in my right foot. My Doctor tells me it will eights weeks

before I am good to go. So, my question is, has anyone had this. What was

the outcome? Any info would be great. The backstory, I rolled my foot last

march,

saw my foot doctor four times. Brace, walking cast. Still not right. So, that

brings

me to surgery.
