We have only heard of one man with CMT who had some kind of stem cell treatment

in China. He returned to his native Holland, I think But I have not read any

conclusive scientific evidence about his treatment, nor has he come forward

publicly to witness. Go back in our Message Archives to read about him and

Caroline's posts too.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is not a treatment for CMT. You can try it I suppose,

but I would research it much further and be very careful. Years ago a man I knew

with CMT tried it to no avail, he subsequently

Best treatment is taking good care of yourself: eating a heart healthy diet,

exercise to the extent possible, keep negative people and thoughts out of your

life. Also join the CMT registry so when trials come out for new therapies for

your type, you'll get a notice.
