Guest guest
Dear Barb, I am 48- I started wearing AFOS's 2 yrs ago ... so at 46yrs I wore them almost all the time and within 3-6months I had a large increase in energy or rather... a marked decrease in fatigue. I used to spend most weekends in bed just to be ready for my week. Bottom line - try to get lots of rest and wear the AFOs and see if that helps. Does anyone else experience the same with my observation of AFOs and decrease of fatigue? Now I only wear the AFOs to do activity- walking, shopping etc but not daily for my office job.FYI. 2 weeks ago I worked on my house cleaning and painting 12 plus hrs a day for 4 days and then helped a friend move last week.... helped pack(with my hands) and stupid me walked on marble flooring without shoes(major stupid) and boy.... I hadn't taken more then 10 pain pills in 8 years and I have taken 6 in last few days and this weekend I do not plan to get up out of my chair or bed. REST! yes and I get to read and do computer and get caught up with my CMT friends. Good luck, Kim
