Ty had some seizure activity like 6 times at school the other day.

It is amazing, It only seems to happen at school. Sometimes I see it

at home, like on Halloween night he had one. But anyway one of the 6

the other day was abnormal from the usual for him. HE his eyes rolled

up so far they couldn't see the color of his eyes and he went limp as

could be and was unresponsive. They took him down to the nurse and

they said it was like carrying a lifeless person. It still took

awhile to get him aware. The whole episode lasted at least 6

minutes his teacher told me. Then Ty had 4 of his usual spells at

lunch and then had 1 more similar to the first. They called me

about 11:30 when the 2nd abnormal seizure happened and said they

thought I should take him home. I agreed, I had already called his

Dr. about the first episode, but still had not heard, I called again

and everyone was at lunch, so I took him to the ER and from there

they sent him by ambulance to St Louis, because we do not have a

pediatric nuerologist in this area. Well they did a cat scan of his

head and we had an eeg done. The cat scan was normal but the eeg

showed abnormalities. WE are now going to have a MRI done soon at

Children's. So keep us in your prayers, in the meantime they sent us

home with some medicine to give him rectaly should he have another

seizure lasting more than 5 minutes again. I feel like an open door

that says come on in, what more do you got... The past two months

have been something else. My husband is gone to basic Training, my

aunt died unexpectedly, Ty has been diagnoised with hypothyroidism,

autism and now this, my 9 year old daughter was diagnoised with

depression, my other son is fine, he is 4, he was diagnoised as being

a hard headed little boy. LOL... Good news actually!!!! And then

they found fribroids in my uterus and 2 cysts on my left ovary. So

as you can see I have been a door mat it seems. Keep our family in

your prayers. We need them.!!! Hugs, AMY
