All That Is Positive: Going a little outside the envelope

I don't normally approach strangers in a store setting and talk about

a cause. Well, sometimes you just need to get a little forward.

Wearing my " Ask Me About CMT " button, I did some shopping this afternoon

at my local supermarket. Thought it might be a good idea to bring a few

brochures into the store in case someone actually _did_ ask.

As it too often happens, no one does.

I was pushing a cart down an aisle approaching a woman wearing hospital

scrubs with an area hospital logo on them.

'No guts, no awareness' I thought and asked her if she had ever heard of

CMT. She said she thought she had, (!) so I handed her the brochure along with

my standard explanation about CMT. She said that she'd share it with her family

and friends.

Mission accomplished.

One more person (or more) who's aware!
