Guest guest
Hey Ladies (and gentlemen if you're lurking) I was just wondering... and I'm not exactly sure how to ask this and have you know what I mean. Ok, you know when you do a punch while you're doing the horse stance thingy and you're punching with one arm... well, in what position do you have your other arm? I know you're other arm is more than likely making a fist but is the fist facing upward or downward. LOL Why does this matter to me? Mainly because I have desperately been trying to do that move with my opposite arm facing upward simply because the move looks really cool that way but I am having one heck of a time doing that. It certainly shouldn't be difficult to do but my arms don't seem to want to do it that way. I hope somebody understands this. Barb!! I think I had trouble with that early on cuz it does feel clumsy but was used to seeing my son who does Karate in the horse stance with his fists turned palm upward and think that is what you are talking about Barb who thinks you can do alot of variations of the same move and each way is acceptable too cuz I have seen alot of strange hand positions on the Kathy and Austin's kickboxing tapes & even notice differences between the regulars on the TB tapes. LOL! I'm *so* glad I'm not the only one. I've been trying to turn that fist up, too, and it just ain't happenin'! My fist always naturally turns inward towards my body. Trying to do it the other way (fist turned upwards) gets me all confused and I mess up. >It >certainly shouldn't be difficult to do but my arms don't seem to want to do >it that way. I hope somebody understands this. Barb!! I think it's one of those " pat- your-head-while-rubbing-your-stomach " things. -- Sandy
