My Uncle is 82 years old and has always been very active and a keen tennis

player into his late 70's.

His brother (my father), Sister and Mother were all effected by CMT from an

early age.

Last month my Uncle suddenly and without warning found he had lost the use of

his legs. Neurologists in Dublin the cause is CMT.

Does anyone else know of someone his age suddenly being effected?

Is it possible to identify a possible trigger?

Am I at 60 likely to encounter the same problem?

Any feedback appreciated.

Philip
