Guest guest
Sometimes fingers curl when we sleep. First thing, soak fingers/hand in hot water and move around to get the muscles loosened. Gretchen
Guest guest
Hi ....your husband may have what is referred to as a " TRIGGER " finger. I had exactly the same thing happen to me, and the same finger. At first it is only once or twice a day and it progresses from there. I had a surgeon release the tendon near the palm and it is fine today. That was 2 years ago and all is fine. He did not believe it had anything to do with CMT because I was the 1st patient he had who had a trigger finger with CMT. Regards............ From: Brownfamily082303 Sent: Tuesday, October 05, 2010 12:38 PM Subject: CMT 1A question My husband has CMT 1A, and his ring finger on his right hand seems to be stuck in the down position when he wakes up each moring. He has to pull it up to be able to use it, it only happens in the morning when he gets up. We were wondering if anyone has this or knows anything about this, thank you.
