Have you considered hosting it on Amazon EC2 ( " Elastic Compute Cloud " or just

" the cloud " )? I'm sure it'd be a lot cheaper, escpecially their " Micro

instances " .

http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/

The cost calculator here:

http://calculator.s3.amazonaws.com/calc5.html

indicates that 720 hours per month comes to about $22. There will be additional

costs involved (storage, network traffic etc) but those will be relatively less

significant.

If this information can't be hosted on Group, Amazon EC2 could be

Plan B.

find a new home for all of the information on CMT I have on lindacrabtree.com.

When CMT International shut down I had 103 newsletters and one heck of a

whopping website, all about CMT. During the last six months before we stopped

publishing, we took the most relevant information out of the newsletters and put

it in a website that I kept up for years. Then I took it over to my personal

site so anyone with CMT could access it. There is some excellent work there and

I don't want to see it die. Article by Drs. , Bird and and others

who know CMT well.

that are still relevant it so it doesn't get lost but some place that I don't

have to pay for hosting? I want to take my personal site down and just keep my

blog going. Paying over $500 a year for hosting three websites is too much for

me. I'm not going to renew my NiagaraShares.com site, a site set up to help

seniors in my area, or my Crabtree hosting but I'm keeping my personal

domain name and my AccessibleNiagara.com site as that's the one I truly enjoy

working on.

Any ideas about where the information might be welcomed?

Jayan,

Still too expensive for me. I don't want to have to pay to help

people. I already run another huge site to help tourists with

disabilities have a good vacation here in Niagara. That's about all I

can afford. I'm lucky in that I've received government grants from

time to time to run that one but I'm not going after funding to keep a

nine year old site up. Maybe it's time it and the information in it

died. I have until May to decide and/or find a home for it.

Thanks,

L.

Hi

My mom used to subscribe to CMT international on my behalf when I was a kid

approximately 25 years ago. She even spoke to you on the phone one day and had a

great conversation with you.

I am a web designer by trade and would be willing to host any websites on my

hosting server free of charge. If you wish to keep the domain names I would be

willing to help pay for them.

Even if you take Gretchen's offer and I would still be willing to do this

because the more websites that provide CMT information is always good.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Sincerely
