I have tried several places around here in upstate NY but have been

unable to locate this type of brace. Any suggestions?

In New Jersey they have them at Walgreens and they can order them for you also.

In California they sell them in sporting good stores like Big 5.

I got one at WalMart here in CT. Unfortunately, it was not big enough and I had

to return it

Oh dear, I hit 'send' too early! Anyway, I was going to say that WalMart had

several types of ankle braces by Mueller & other companies. Some were stretchy

and pulled on that the others had the criss-cross velcro. If you can't find one

there, is there a Medical Pharmacy anywhere nearby? That is going to be my next

stop to see if they have any in plus sizes. Good luck!

I purchased mine at Wal-Mart, but I don't think they carry them any more.

However, I don't use them since I found the Active Ankle T2. If you are wanting

them for ankle support, which is why I have them, the Active Ankle fits in a

shoe better. I can wear them with my low-top New Balance tennis shoes and my

ankle hardly moves but my foot is still comfortable; whereas my foot would feel

squished with the Mueller. Plus I find the Active easier to put on and it fits

under my orthotic.

Just thought I'd share something that works for me, you may like the Mueller

better.?

Here's a link to the Active Ankle, but I found them cheaper on another site,

which I can't find now. I think I only paid $30 each. So Google them before

buying to get the best deal!

If you go to the Mueller brace, click on " ankle " .  Find the one for $12.99,

that's the one I have.  Let me know if I can be of any other help.

I have active ankle in black and a muller in white. For me Muller is much

more comfortable.
