Guest guest
Hi Sam, I have not had acupuncture done, but using acupuncture needles I have had intramuscular stimulations. This is not for the weak at heart. This treatment is designed to use acupuncture needles to force a muscle contraction and then release of tight muscles. I find it very painful while having treatment, and wonderful after. I focus on my legs and hips/glute muscles. I have never tried my arms. This is not a treatment for CMT. Rather, as the nerves don't communicate well to the muscles, the muscles can atrophy, may not contract / release well. This is a treatment (the way I use it) to force release so that when my muscles do work, then are not working in an already tense state. Good luck. And interesting fact about carpal tunnel. I didn't know that. Donna from London
