Guest guest
Thanks. . I've never thought of using methadone. I'll have to ask my neurologist about it. Crabtree > >
Guest guest
Hi , When I first started taking this prescription, it made me very sleepy and I felt like it depressed my breathing. These feelings went away after a few days, but with your paralyzed diaphragm, just be extra careful. If you are going to give it a try, perhaps test just a small amount during the day rather than at night to see how you react to it. My doctor said he'd never heard of anyone having this reaction, so it's very unusual, but thought I'd mention it, due to your circumstances. Guest guest
Excellent thought, , thank you. Morphine absolutely depresses my breathing. It's difficult to remember everything that does me in and too late when you're told to take it and a waste of money when you get the prescription filled. I remember when I was prescribed Singulaire for asthma and it did me in so badly and I got so weak I couldn't get myself off the toilet. It left lasting problems. My doctor apologized and said he only had one patient with CMT and I was it. He had no idea and neither did I. Read the fine, fine print and search for contraindications for every medication. If it mentions neuromuscular diseases or that it can exacerbate neuromuscular disease, think twice. L.
