Guest guest
Hi G. I get those inside tremors and outside tremors. They come and go, Sometimes stay for a month or so and sometimes just a day or two. They are not timed and I never know when it will start again or for that matter when they will stop. Guest guest
Hi, I get that shaky inside feeling a lot. I think, for me, at least, it's from total exhaustion. Unfortunately the last few weeks I've been waking up with it. It doesn't go away that quickly for me. Todat was a good example. I have been staggering all over and Im sure those that dont know me think Ive had a few too many to drink. Mine tend to last all day with the afternoon and evening being the worst. Guest guest
Hi, I can't really describe it, I just feel shaky inside. Nothing outside is shaking, though. Guest guest
Connie, What does your doc say causes them? I have not seen my doctor since these began. I am hoping the Htperbaric chamber wll take care of some of this stuff. They sure are not normal to have...Do you think it is in the nervous system?...Hugs G....I put G because there are two s on this list...... Guest guest
Hi G. and L., My insides also shake. I think with me it has to do with how exhausted I am. I have noticed that when I am extremely exhausted (which happens more and more now) my arms visibly shake. I really can't rest any more than I do now...oh well... Guest guest
Hi G. From my research he thinks it is just lyme. I do take lots of asthma medicine, but the tremors don't coincide with it. Now today they are better. They just come and go at will. I also think it is the spiro's attacking parts of the body. My tremors will be in differnt spots sometines, Hugs, Connie, MI

My LLD feels the tremors and shakes are part of the neuro involvement. In fact while waiting to get approval for the IV Rocephin he put me on oral Amoxicillin to hopefully stop the progression. Guest guest
I couldn't tell from the description if you were talking about a tremor or a spasm. I have a friend who has hand tremors and was told by his doctor that it is a neurologic disorder similar to Parkinson's but that people often have just the hand tremors with no other symptoms. If you have the medical coverage, I would get myself to a neurologist for a good opinion. Now, spasms.....there is a movement disorder called myoclonus which is basically quick, jerky movements of muscles. I have a mild case of it and I find that it is aggravated by SSRI antidepressants (Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, Luvox.) I take 0.5 mg Klonopin nightly for the spasms, and it lessens them to where they are just tiny twitches. Another thing you might consider is whether the tremor is a medication side-effect. I know I'm always getting weird side effects from all the meds I take. I hope this info. is of some help or at least didn't bore you too much. Guest guest
I have tremors, and so do my brothers, my dad and my cousin. It is called familial essential tremor, which means there is no known cause or treatment and it is inherited. Actually, atenolol (tenormin) tends to minimize the tremor as does propanolol. Guest guest
Yes, I had particularly bad tremors before I retired from my teaching job. That summer, I began to take medication for PA, and the tremors began to diminish. Now they only occur when I'm very tired. Guest guest
I have noticed some tremors - thought unrelated, maybe another " age " sign (am 54). They are sporadic. I have PA, Diabetes, Tendonitis of shoulder and arm, bilateral carpal tunnel (surgery performed one year ago on both wrists - wonderful!). Am on MTX (injection weekly) and Avaral (one pill per day), Indocin and Folic Acid.

Guest guest
Dear Traci, Are you having full body tremors? When I had infections rampant in my system, I had a lot of leg and arm/hand tremors.l They go better slowly as I improved but I still get them especially when I'm tired or not feeling well. I would be interested, too, if anyone has had someone tell them why. My guess it that they don't know for sure.... Good luck getting them tamed - they can certainly be annoying. Guest guest
I seem to get shaky when I am actually starting a flare, but it's more or less all over, and I feel very nervous too, especially when the flare presents with a very severe fatigue that I sometimes get. Sometimes, I believe my shakiness may stem from my fear of the throat and minor salivary gland swelling I get, because I absolutely hate it when those little glands in my soft palate swell and make me feel gaggy.
