Guest guest Posted June 24, 2012 Report Share Posted June 24, 2012 Hi, maybe most of you already know this, but I am new and didn't know that brown rice can be bitter if sprouted too long. I grew my first batch of brown rice sprouts for 48 hours total, cooked it and turned so delicious, soft and chewy. I wanted more and immediately grew my 2nd batch, but let them go 12 hours longer. These turned out mushier and had a bitter taste to them. I guess it is not a good idea to over sprout! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
