We Can't Do this Alone! Apply Now!

Neurology on the Hill is the Academy's largest annual advocacy event.

Neurologists from across the country travel to Washington, DC, to meet

face-to-face with their legislators on Capitol Hill to champion the most crucial

federal issues facing our members. Prior to their visits on the Hill,

participants learn about the political process, how the Academy is advocating on

their behalf, and how to best interact with their members of Congress.

Neurology on the Hill will take place February 28 - March 1, 2011 at the

Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City in Washington, DC.

In just two days, Neurology on the Hill will provide you with:

The opportunity to take an active role in our democracy and deliver our message

directly to your senators and representative

Background information on neurology's most imperative federal health policy

issues, such as health care reform and physician reimbursement

Concise talking points you can use during your Hill meetings to communicate the

issues

Helpful insights regarding the political process from Washington's political

leaders, key players in health care, and Academy staff

The chance to develop lasting, effective relationships with members of Congress,

their staff, and fellow neurologists

No experience is necessary, just a passion for neurology and desire to advocate

for positive changes for your patients and profession. For further information,

please contact Larson at mlarson@... or (651) 695-2748.
