Guest guest
Dr Al Fisher, and his dietitian Marcie Abbaticola presented an Oxandrin paper in 1997 at the Second International Conference On Nutrition and HIV Infection, in Cannes. They showed that people taking Oxandrin had a much more dramatic rise in lean body mass accrual when taking 20 grams per day of L-glutamine each day. I suggest taking Glutamine as 10 grams, 1 Tablespoon powder, in a few ounces of cool water or juice, twice a day, to get the 20 grams dose. Charlie Smigelski RD, Boston www.eatupbooks.com Need Oxandrin quick tips For no apparent reason I've lost about 8-10 pounds in the last couple of months. My doctor just prescribed 10 mg of Oxandrin to be taken once a day. I am already using 5g of AndroGel daily. I've read through the archives, but still have some questions: -what time of day is it best to take the one pill? -do I need to do resistance training to see results? Right now I just swim 5x week -will it improve my appetite? -do you take it indefinitely, or stop after a certain time and maybe start again? I like my doctor, but he didn't seem all that knowledgeable about Oxandrin. I think my problem is really poor appetite, but I'm not sure how easy it is for a doctor to properly prescribe Marinol. BTW, I bought a copy of Built to Survive years ago, but right now -- when I need it -- I can't remember where I put it. I have a ton of books all over the place. Any help or referral to a web resource will be graetly appreciated. Thanks! Welcome to our PozHealth group!
