Guest guest
Sure, happy to share. Corn is hidden in MOST packaged food, often unlabeled. It can come under MANY different names if it IS labeled-anything ending in a TRINE (such as maltodextrine) anything that says " natural " flavors or colors, ALL artificial colors and flavors, and most packaging materials are either made from corn, or have cornstarch sprayed in them during the packaging process. Table salt has hidden corn in the " anti caking agents " . Clothing dyes often have corn. Any blanket, sheet, pillow, socks, etc. labeled as " antimicrobial " contain corn. Any vitamin that is labeled " Vitamin A, C, etc " is likely corn derived. Corn is in most shampoos, laundry and dish soaps, soaps and toothpastes, as well as in the airbags in your cars. It is also in most glue, plaster, paint, wallboard, insulation, etc. The list is FAR too long to post here, but just giving you a general idea-corn is EVERYWHERE!! I suggest googling the sources of hidden corn-lots of info out there. One of the most crazy places I discovered corn the hard way was in toilet paper and paper towels-the sheets are sprayed with cornstarch to keep them separate, and the glue that holds them to the roll are corn. This gives you just a glimpse into the scope of how prevalant it is-and sadly, MOST of it is genetically modified corn, making matters even worse! I wasn't allergic to corn until they started GMO'ing a gene from wheat and soy into it, now I am allergic to all three! > > > The scary part of HFCS is the places it is hidden, unlabeled, and you > > wouldn't expect to find it. Guest guest
Oh, and ALL commercial meat, dairy, eggs, and other animal products contain corn, as corn is the main feed given to animals raised for food-the corn DOES pass into the animal by products-sad, but true. > > > > > The scary part of HFCS is the places it is hidden, unlabeled, and you > > > wouldn't expect to find it.
