Guest guest
Does your solar oven sit on the ground or do you need to put it on top of a table to use it? Can you only bake in it or can you cook in a pan as well. Does it take about the same time as in the oven?  Do you use it year round or did you say you only use it in the winter? I can't imagine going outside to cook like that. My husband does the grilling. I used to grill but I had a deck right by my living room/dining room and it was really close. Here the front isn't too far from the road and the back door is through the sun room, the " junk " room and out the utility room to back door and then there is a patio which we put in last year.   He usually goes out there to grill.  Last 2 years we have had a lot of no-seeums and we never had them before, not since we got here. I think the Hurricane Wilma washed them out to sea or something. But they are growing now because of the water and they eat me up. A lot of the water we get is probably from the tropical storms, like " Bud. "    Do you use that to save on the electric? Is there a stand for the stove to keep it up at a higher level like waist or higher?
