Where did you get te idea that they used chemical peeling?

Great way to use them, I think. Too bad they went from a simple polish to

dousing them with chemical peeling. I put my " uglies " in my Presto Peel-a-meal

and it rounds them out just perfectly-I use the scrapings that are left in the

machine for compost tea.

I saw it on an episode of " How It's Made " . Even in this article, it says about

the chlorine used. Not only am I allergic to chlorine (it is an amine-many

people have sensitivities to amines without knowing that is what causes MANY

health issues) but I don't want chlorine on my food even if I wasn't allergic.
