Guest guest
Thank you for allowing me to join . I have been dealing with peripheal neropathy for many years. About years ago I started to get problems with my feet. I started to notice numbing in both feet. It was mainly in my toes. Last year I had surgery on left foot and Dr took some muscle from calf and put into knee. After that I lost almost all feeling in foot. I was off feet for 8 months. My toes started to curl around and arch totally collapsed. HAve had problems getting a small cut to heal on big toe. My foot surgeon told me that I may have Charcot. I asked about treatment and he didnt really give me a answer Am seeing nerologist tomorrow hoping to find out for sure. I looked up Charcot online and became concerned as to possible problems that can come about. Is there any treatment for charcot and can you loose a foot because of it? What is the difference between Charcot and Charcot Marie Tooth? Look forward to any info or sites to check into. Again thank you for allowing me to join.
