positive free will

I read research on consciousness, subconsciousness, neuroscience, gestalt

psychology, hologram (physics) and so on.

I Myself choose to believe that how I think influences what happens in my world

and my body. Thus, when I train my muscle, I believe that my nerve catch the

signals and transfer to my muscles and my muscles become stronger and stronger.

Everyone makes choices based on his or her own free will.

If I can choose to believe that I can become better, why would I choose to

believe that I can become worse?

Life exists in the free will that I use to make all kinds of positive

choices in my life.

If we can choose to believe that the treatments of CMT is coming soon, why would

we choose to believe that we will definitely become worse?

Positive free will and positive choices make me happy everyday.

May you be well and happy

Very true for me, Caroline. I also believe what I feed myself, who I choose as

friends, places I travel, activities I'm involved in, all contribute to

progressive positive free will.

Hi,

For me, it is essential that I enjoy the present. I can only do that if I am

content with my situation as it is. I have accepted CMT, that's who I am. It is

of no consequence for me if it can be cured or not. I am happy as it is. In case

I would hope for a cure all the time, how could I enjoy the present? Yes, having

CMT means a lot of struggles. Everything is harder, everything takes longer. But

life is not easy for anyone. Living in Europe with CMT is probably easier than

living in Africa without CMT.

I have also been following CMT research and although they know more about the

genes involved, they are not nearer a cure than 10 years ago. (Contradict me if

I am worn). So hoping for a cure would only take my energy from doing my best of

my present situation.

What I do like, is searching for new things that can make my life easier.

Orthoses, electric vehicles, hearing aids ... It seems that technology is moving

faster than medical science. So I look for new things all the time, because they

can help me more than hoping for a cure.

Yes, a positive attitude to life is important for our happiness and well being.

Thinking negatively can lead to stress, and stress can contribute to many

medical problems such as high blood pressure, headaches, indigestion, etc.

However I don't believe that positive thinking in itself can always

" influence what happens in my world or in my body " . I can believe

with all my heart that I can step off a 10 story building and fly,

but the law of gravity will quickly bring me to the ground. There

are many diseases out there which are fatal and have no cure. I do

not feel that positive free will alone will change the truth of a

situation. But a positive attitude can definitely help us to cope

with the situation that we find ourselves facing, and improve our

quality of life.

Blessings,

Barb
