Guest guest
Oh yeah Matt, I had that and more for each toe and it all tied around my feet. I think I was about 7. I couldn't sleep and kept kicking them off. That was 3 years before diagnosis. So instead of those " toe braces " I had something added to my shoes and also the orthopedist said to buy 1/2 size larger that would let the toes spread out. Guest guest
Might be effective if your toes havn't set in the hammered position yet. I found the same product on Amazon, one positive review, one negative. The one positive did say that the product is half the price on the manufacturers web site. www.therawear.com They're a couple dollars less, and they also offer a two toe strap.. I know that my hammer toes would not have been straightened or helped by this product. I guess it depends of whether your toes bend easily or not. O Toe Straightener Hello all, I was surfing around for shoes for the kids the other day and came across this product. Has anyone tried these or something similar? Did it help, short or long term? http://www3.shopping.com/Pedifix-Pedifix-Toe-Straightener-Single-Toe-Splint- Pedifix/info Thanks (Canada)
Guest guest
No, I haven't tired that, but I wear one of these from time to time. Guest guest
I have done both--the toe splints help part of the time to relieve the hammer toes. And also buying 1/2 size larger and extra wide shoes. I used to wear a regular size 8 (women's) now the most comfortable ones are (9 -4E). The extra width helps considerably! From: mm.morse@... Guest guest
That is so cool ! I wonder if they make one that accomodates all the toes. I'd need a big one with 5 loops.
