Guest guest
To or anyone with this problem, there is an option that can be set (on XP machines) that enables an audible warning every time you hit the Caps Lock, Num Lock or Scroll Lock keys. This is the link: http://www.xp-tips.com/caps-lock-warning.html For Windows7: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-the-caps-lock-num-lock-or-scroll-lock-warni\ ng-in-windows-7 For Mac users: http://thewoodwards.us/sw/CAPSWarn/ Dick > Oh, and I lost the end of my left pinky in an accident at work 14 years ago and while there is some sensation on the tip that the surgeon designed, it is not like it was. Often I do not know whether I am hitting the " A " key, or the caps lock, or both on the keyboard. That said, I am diabetic and I only tried sticking that finger once to test my sugar. It hurt like the devil and throbbed for several minutes afterward! Strange. > > >
Guest guest
You can also " pop " these keys out from your keyboard, such that the cover with the symbol is gone, but the key is still functional...with an entirely different tactile sensation, and a much more difficult time accidentally activating these keys. Mac OS 10.6 has in the " edit " drop down menu which says " transformations, " which will change the case either direction, and capitalize selected word(s). Hope that helps.
