Guest guest Posted January 11, 2011 Report Share Posted January 11, 2011 Hubby and I joined the local gym. Today was our first day. I have been told by doctors not to do weight bearing exercises. So I did some of the non weight bearing things that I could on cardio machines and then went into the pool and swam some laps. I have read so many different stories as to where this kind of exercise is good and others say it is bad for us with CMT. Please tell me your thoughts and experiences with going to the gym and exercising. Is it good for us or bad for us? My legs and arms are getting so weak, I really want to try and make them stronger plus I really need to lose weight.
