Guest guest
As I was reading about your son my thoughts went to him using a special skills dog when he's in his chair at school. It not only could help him all day long but it would be a way for him to make friends including the girls who absolutely go gaga over dogs. A SS dog has been a boon for many a fellow in a wheelchair. Having a constant loving companion might also help temper the pain somewhat as the dog would be a diversion. What kind of pain does he have, and where, if you don't mind. I have pain 24/7 and have had it for 20 plus years.

Guest guest
Why not start a support group? Go to the local paper and ask them to do a bit of a story and I'll bet parents and kids with CMT come out of the woodwork. L.
