Guest guest
Welcome Tina, I had to respond because you have many of the same things I do. I fall the same way you mentioned with the leg buckling. I think part of the problem is the pain I know I will feel if I jam my foot down to save myself. Or my brain is too slow to react. It is good to hear other's stories. I feel somewhat normal now. I suffered for many years before I finally found a doc to manage the pain. Wishing everyone a pain-less night! Guest guest
Drea, Welcome to the group! I am here also! I just wanted to comment on your child's skin issue. Have you ever tried evening primrose oil in addition to the fish oil? All of the omega fats are very important and epo is well known in helping children and adults alike with skin issues. Good luck with the enzymes! I just started the enzymes with my daughter who is 6 and has mild autism. So far, so good. ) Ginger
Guest guest
Hello Drea! Yes, I have tried it and am currently taking it myself. I guess dosing would be up to you, depending on how you or your child tolerates it. I take anywhere from 3 to 6 gel caps a day. Since my daughter has been sick, I haven't given her any, however, she is feeling better so we will start back up soon. The evening primrose helps me with Pms and also makes my skin softer. Dr. Kane recommends taking it every day and also the body bio balance oil. I take the balance oil and I can tell a difference with that also. (give it to my daugher too) She recommends the fat ration of 4:1 HTH Ginger P.s. I will let you know how the oral flo cup works out. Keeping my fingers crossed! Guest guest
Oh! I totally forgot about primrose! It was something I looked for a couple of times but I couldn't find, and then it faded in to the backround and I completly forgot about it. Yes, I would like to try evening primrose oil, as it is supposedly good for AD(H)D as well. Have you tried it? Do you know anything about dosing? Guest guest
Thanks Dana. As I have read through posts and some mention of black circles under eyes meaning yeast or phenol (alergy or food sensetivity is another one I've heard that causes the dark circles), I decided it can't hurt to go with all 3 of the ones you suggested, and add one at at time and slowly. The AFP comes in a chewable tablet, so this is the one I ordered. BTW, the link you offered is how I found this group! It's a very good web site! Guest guest
Hi Jackie & welcome. There are enough sites on here to pull up anything about Asperger Syndrome. I would do that & see if the boyfriend could deal with it then. If not I would say worry about your son not the boyfriend. Guest guest
Hi: Welcome to the group I also live in Ohio. Shared parent of a 5 & 1/2 yr old son with AS and step-dad of a NT 11 yr old (going on 30) daughter, (for the record son's mom left me and took son with 10 months before dx, he was 26 months old then). All of us, my wife, my ex and myself are committed to doing what's best for DS. I think that ultimately he might do better residing with me for school purposes, but am still more interested in focusing on him rather than fighting his mom tooth and nail. Very truly yours; Todd B. Guest guest
You're welcome lol I don't blame you for keeping the notes, I would too. That's a very good idea. I'm in Brilliant, Ohio. It's a very tiny town near Steubenville. We're only an hour and a half from Massilon. My husband works up in the area a lot with the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway. -Jenn Proud Momma of Cory Albert (14yrs ADHD), h Dawn (12yrs Anxiety) and Jerry Lee " Trey " (9yrs ADHD, Bi-Polar, Asperger's) -- ( ) Introduction Hi everyone!
