It works on reducing inflammation in the joints that are swelling from arthritis as far as I understand. I am sure there is more to it. Basically a much stronger ibuprofen. Guest guest
Hello Matt, We're all different when it comes to NSAID's. The only problem I had with Celebrex was that it didn't work! Voltaren was more helpful, but it did give me moderate heartburn. Mobic once a day (am) works well for me. Some relief from pain and no stomach upset. I guess a big question is why would you take an NSAID? For me, Mobic works very well on my spinal arthritis, but it doesn't do a lot for CMT pain. There are much better options for that (for me, Ultram works best). Like I said, we're all different, but Mobic daily and an occasional Ultram keeps my pain manageable. Good luck!
