The substitute for Carbon tetrachloride(C Cl4) as Ultra Clean which does not come under Ozone depleting substance rule .

Dear Safety Professionals,

I requested to kindly give me suggestion of the substitute of Carbon tetra chloride (CCL4) as a cleaning agent. Carbon tetra chloride use for cleaning of electrical components & machine maintenance activity.

2 The chemical comes under Ozone depleting substances rules, 2000 schedule-1, and use of the chemical is banned.
