Guest guest
Could I please be removed from this list. I had 119 e-mails today and a lot of OT discussion clogging up the old slow computer. Makes it too hard to pull up e-mail quickly. Thanks, Oliver [

Guest guest
Hi Marilyn! Belated happy birthday, and many good wishes to you! I'm so sorry I missed it, I've been crazy lately. Lupus sucks. Soooo sorry you have to deal with it. It is like lets make a deal- ok, I'll rest, and then will you let me do something???? My hands give me a lot of trouble too. And lately my elbows. And I thought I had gotten used to the knees, but I've been trying to do some stuff in the yard....not much is getting done. Are you already on a ton of meds? Maybe something isnt working anymore? Maybe I shouldnt, but I still go get a big shot of cortisone once in a while, or a Medrol dose pac. It always seems to stop, or at least slow down the flare. And I have to have aspirin! I've tried all kinds of things, as I'm sure you have. I'm not nearly as tough as I used to be. Hope you get to feeling better soon! Love, > Hi everyone, > > I'm sorry that I am not as active, writing wise, in the group, as I use to be. > It seems as though, the Lupus is progressing more and more. The last 2 years has been pretty much a constant flare for me. I have a lot of trouble typing. So I have been a silent member. I read (lurk) everyday. Gosh, it's been so long since I written, that, with all the new members, I bet not many people even remember me. That is why I was so surprised when you remembered my birthday. It was such a pleasant surprise, Thank You very much. > > I would like to welcome all of the new members. This is a wonderful group, of caring, loving people. That is why, even when I can't write, I still read everyday, because, it helps me so much. > > When I am felling better, I will write, and uptake everyone on what has been going on with me. > > I just wanted to say Thank You for the birthday wishes. > > Huggs > Marilyn

Guest guest
How about 2/5/39. That's old! (That's me) But if anyone said to me you're 67 - I would say 'Am I? Really!' It's attitude. Guest guest
So why do I have MS? My birhtday is in January. -- [low dose naltrexone] May birthday Aletha, what significance does a birthday in May have with ms? I'm really curious as I was born in May. Also, Dr. Neiper believed more people got ms in August due to something with electro-magnetic fields and the Earth's poles. It is in his book "The Neiper Revolution" Best, Kathy

Guest guest
So glad you had a nice birthday. I personally believe its ok to not quite stick to a diet on your birthday and holidays. As long as you don't totally binge:) and stay close to the path the other days of the year. That way you don't feel like you are being totally deprived. Bread maker....you'll love it! I done worn one out and on my second one. I don't do nothing fancy with it but when I do use it I love it. Nothing taste better then homemade hot bread. Gotta watch those portions though:) I for some strange reason gotten away from using my slow cooker. There has been so many good receipes lately floating around using one that I'm gonna have to get back into using it again. Birthday Thanks! My birthday was great. I did go a bit overboard last night on the coconut shrimp but I limited my trips and didn't go home stuffed. My DH bought me a breadmaker!!!! I am so excited now I can make wholesome bread and low fat pizza. I can't wait to use it! Blessed be,
Guest guest
I love my slow cooker I have it setting out on the counter because I use it so much. I sent a recipe here for the slowcooker that you should try It is made with coconut milk but you don't eat the sauce so the calories really aren't too bad. I had a bread maker awhile back and I made fresh bread daily. That way my hubby had fresh rolls for his lunch. BUT when our hose burned down about 2 years ago I never replaced it. Do you have any tried and true recipes to share? Blessed be,

Guest guest
I went over on calories last night because of the bread I'll have to watch it. LOL BUT I finally found some bread my son will eat. He generally hates bread but ate 2 of my rolls yesterday! I am so happy.
