Guest guest
PPE compliance (Need to develop PPE audit system and measure level of compliance) Unsafe Act Index Hazard Id. And Mitigation Training Man Hrs (I don’t see a reason why training cant be a measured for its quality) Devise systems to measure the training effectiveness. Training calendar must flow from your risk assessment and refresher calendar for Job Specific. Identify operational controls which can be quantified. For eg. Material handling improvements which can be quantified (check your additional control requirement for significant risks, compile them and take it as a MP for improvement in material handling) Noise levels, Illumination and Ventilation requirement Health and Hygiene Index (Improvements in it can well be quantified) There can be many others. Guest guest
Dear Shaik, Good that we are discussing the Management program at this forum. I understand the one you have mentioned looks like SHE department objectives. However Risk Assessment/ OHSMPs should very clearly bring out the line management ownership. The objectives and targets must flow from Risk Assesment/ Aspect Impact id. Management programs are time bound action plans to achieve these objectives. Step 1: Compile the list of significant risks and additional controls. Step 2: Make SMART objectives/ targets based on significant risks. Step 3: Make MPs to achieve these targets. (Here all your additional control should come with responsibility, timeline, etc) Step 4: Quarterly review of MPs and Residual Risk Assessment post completion of OHSMPs. Apart from this, any legal non conformance must form a part of your Management program (even if it’s insignificant risk according to your Risk assessment protocol. Generally any legal NC automatically becomes a significant risk).
