Procedure for disposal of PVC fills

Dear Safety professionals,

We have installed 5 evaporative type

Mihir cooling towers. These cooling towers are packed with Honeycomb

PVC fills. Each cooling tower is filled with approximately 280 fills in

each cooling towers. After using these cooling towers for 4 years , we

are changing these fills and filled with a new ones. We have accumulated

approximately 500 kgs of used fills. . This kind of problems is faced by

industries using these type of cooling towers. Please guide me the procedure

of disposal of used PVC fills.

Dear M.gopalkrishna,

Pl dispose it off to recyling contractor/mfr.

PVC can be recycled. You may get some

revenue also from the sale.
