Guest guest
Dear Rabiq Ali, We suggest to redesign the fall arrestor system to suit to the truck, I am enclosing the picture what we have developed and using very efficiently in our plant. Provide a trolley where the fall arrestor can move along the person when he is moving across the truck, this ensure the angle is less that 30 degree, which is very essential for proper operation of the unit as per manufacture recommendations. If u need any additional info, pls let us know. Rgds Dinesh Dear All, It has been reported in few of the units that Truck crew tying tarpaulin fell from Truck top and died. I have provided Retractable Fall arrester with hooking arrangement in Truck Loading Point. However this is not practically possible in Paper Yard where the parking of Trucks is not in one place. Could anyone suggest a better method or share best practices in their plant. regards, S.
