Guest guest
Hi guys, Its me. I do have a hard time with computer access as we are still in the hospital. They have told us that kids with DS are more at risk for serious infection in this first phase so we are here to stay for another couple of weeks. It has already been 2 weeks. had a good update with her bone marrow test. We have made progress with chemo. She has given me a few scares with being really tired and no real interest in anything but her blood count is really low as is to be expected with the chemo. But so far not fevers or infections. Her appetite is great finally!!!! It is really tough for my younger daughter so we are running back and forth. We live 2 hours from the hospital. One parent stays here, the other is at home with . On the weekends we all are at the hospital and and I stay at the Mc house. So we just take it day by day. My worry is her walking since she doesn't want to get out of bed but they have ordered PT now. Please keep us in you prayers. I am so very scared and we have a long road to go.
