Don't dissmiss MYX right off the bat. Side effects are usually, not always, dose

related. I have been taking MTX 10 mg weekly for over one year and I have no

problem with it and it gives me much relief. Of course, some people are more

sensitive to certain meds than other. You won't know until you try.

I'm on Arava (Leflunomide is the generic name) which is supposed to be

similar to MTX. Don't know that it's working yet, as I've only been on

it for two weeks. (I have gotten some relief but it's not supposed to

really work for 2-4 weeks.) No side effect, tho...
