cortisone injs & blood glucose levels

Hi...can cortisone injections raise blood glucose levels like prednisone can? I

had some injections today and for the first time in almost 2 years had high

blood glucose levels. I have well controlled Type 2 diabetes...normal HA1C's,

normal bg levels daily, and am on no diabetes meds. This scared me. I am

hoping it is temporary?
