Guest guest
, Here are just a few names of yoga & other videos for gentle movement/exercise to get you started. Definitely check Amazon.com and eBay to see if you can find used or low-priced copies. (I always check both of them first before paying full price.) Also, look for terms like " chair yoga " or " gentle yoga " --usually used for types of yoga specifically for folks with disabilities. Check the Arthritis Foundation website, too. They have *many* resources. Ageless Yoga - Joint Freedom by Schlorholtz ( has other excellent tapes that can benefit people with RA too) Sit and Be Fit for Arthritis (I found my copy on eBay) [Qigong] Arthritis - the Chinese Way of Healing and Prevention by Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming (some of these exercises I leave out because they are too challenging for my knees, but others are lovely) Exercise Can Beat Arthritis Move Those Joints Flexible Strength & Vitality - Joint Freeing Series (Structural Yoga Therapy) Alice Christensen (Easy Does It Yoga)- I've used her books but haven't tried any of her videos; I'm sure they'd be good. Wishing you happy & pain-free stretches - Prakasha
