Guest guest
Hi everyone, my name is Lynne. Im 39, a full time, stay at home, homeschooling mom of 6 with celiac and other autoimmune diseases and complications from it going undiagnosed until 3 yrs ago. Our children also all have celiac and other autoimmune diseases as well as multiple food/environmental allergies and medical issues. I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions regarding the liver biopsie I will get done on Tuesday. Im a bit nervous since I am a bleeder and severely allergic to latex and other drugs/foods. My liver/spleen have been enlarged for 3 years now and Ive shrunk an inch from the osteoarthritis this year alone. Celiac is an autoimmune, hereditary disease in which the protein gluten attacks and destroys the intestines causing malabsorption and other complications. Gluten is in all forms of wheat, oats, rye, barley, spelt, triticale, just about everything boxed, bagged, canned. Once I went gluten free, I developed leaky gut syndrome and worsening allergies. I also have rheumatoid arthritis, sjogrens, restless leg syndrome, a large mass under my chin which will be mri'd wed. heart trouble from not absorbing magnesium, broken bones in feet, all along spine, skin sores from celiac, hashimotos thyroiditis also untreated. Im trying to get better but its hard when drs keep passing me to someone else, Ive been to shands who passed me to the mayo and they said I wouldnt get better and to let the thyroid destroy itself theres no need for medication. I am trying to find a dr.to help me get better. I love trying to change recipes so that all of us can eat it. I love teaching my kids and having fun with them. I look forward to exchanging support with others in similar situations. Thank you all for listening. Lynne
