Guest guest
It was from Canada that we got Jack Pierpoint and the late marsha Forrest. I had the pleasure of hearing them speak, buying their books and films and really accepting what they had to say which basically amounted to - If one breathes, one is included. I never thought then what happened when breathing is just not enough. I also wonder if either of them did any follow up studies on what happened to their students after middle school?? Even following their MAP program doesn't leave enough for our kids who are not functioning enough to play team sports (or even help) are not reading (no not even a little), are not interested in teen activities - including necking and sex, need I go on?? One reason I was very happy not to have Elie go to regular high school was the inappropriate behavior of the so-called normals. He is still learning not to greet every one with a hg and a kiss. What would he learn from some passionate behavior in the hallways?? just an added thought.
