Zeb update and happy to be home

Hi All,

It's good to be finished with work for a few weeks. I missed reading the posts.

I hope everyone is doing well. Dh and I are driving out to visit Zeb for

parent's weekend tomorrow. We can't wait to see him. It's been almost two

months. He called regularly in the first few weeks but after that I am lucky to

reach him weekly. He tells me that he loves the school. It's a dream come true!

I would have never imagined that he would ever say that he loved school. Public

school was hell, all 13 yrs. My sister visited him a few weeks ago and says that

she has never seen him so happy. He transitioned into his townhouse amazingly

without any difficulty. She says his townhouse is beautiful. I have been working

nonstop since he left. I haven't really had time to feel that empty nest

syndrome but I think I'm going to like it. Dh thinks I have lost my mind sending

him to college. The tears stream down his cheeks each time he speaks with him on

the phone. I am hoping that he will feel differently once he sees how happy he

is and that he is safe.
