So, that made me sad and lonely.>> Hi, Everyone........welcome to the group. My son, Gareth, is 23 y/o, with the DS/ASD/OCD dx. We first heard the big * A * word around ages 4-5 and got the official dx at age 6. As for rage and anit-soical....that was Gareth to a T !!! At age 10, a psych doc put him on Risperdal and our lives turned around. Gareth was also a wicked head banger when he got angry....he banged his head on the tile floor, wooden doors, anything hard. I was soooooooooo afraid he'd end up permanently brain damaged. Please, feel free to chime in anytime about anything....we have pretty much heard it all around here!!! Liz........Gallbladder!!!
