I think your own body produces 5 mg of " steroids " ....... What is the problem? Pris
Guest guest
There are many problems associated with prednisone. The group's website has a page full of links of information about the side effects of long term prednisone use: http://arthritissupport.info/drugs.html#prednisone Our archives are also filled with posts on prednisone information. In cases where there is organ involvement, some may have no choice but to take it. Osteoporosis, cataracts, diabetes are just a few of the side effects. When you take oral steroids, your body stops producing it's own, so many become dependent on these steroids for life. a On May 23, 2006, at 9:59 PM, NELLIESTAR@... wrote: > > > > > > Are Long-Term Very Low Doses of Prednisone for Patients with > Rheumatoid > > Arthritis as Helpful as High Doses are Harmful?
