I remember asking a friend if she hated her wheelchair.

She seemed shocked!

She told me she LOVED that chair.....it gave her mobility.

Hi Dennis and everyone who responded,

I am so pleased with the positive responses. I do feel like it would

give me some of my life back and definitely increase my outings with

my children. You have all given me the boost I need to do it. I am

calling the insurance first thing tomorrow and working on getting me

hopefully a scooter, but right now I would settle for a wheelchair (I

have plenty of people to help me push it if my arms tire, lol).

Again, this group is the best as far as support goes. I was tending

to feel like a quitter by giving in and using one, but there is NO WAY

I can walk or stand for any significant period of time so I end up
