Guest guest
I think I consistently Spell enebrel wrong.. I'll have to look again.. enbril enbrel sigh..... I take the " e " one along with 7 little mtx pills every Saturday (well I do the injection in the middle of the week, the pills on Saturday). I agree with the slow inject suggestion but I'm actually finding mine stings less if I only leave it out about 10 minutes.. hmmmm. I am one of the lucky ones in that I've never had any swelling or redness post injection. The first time I added the enbrel to my mtx it was seeming to really start helping.. then I had to discontinue it for a month and a half while I got over a chest cold. :-( back to square one. I just hope it starts kicking in a bit better again, at the moment I hurt. I learned (this week) that the local senior center (sounds dreadful in one sense but then again, it's one of the better ones in the country...the Director is incredible) has a lot of different kinds of exercise classes including Gentle Yoga, Beginning Tai Chi, PACE (which is people with arthritis can exercise) and a few others. Difference with this and other classes is that they only cost $2 a session.... Guess what I'm going to try next month. I think I've strained myself a bit.. my husband has been having some depression problems and my mother, who is 88 now, was having a lot more problems than I was aware of before I retired last month. I'm doing a lot more for her than I would by choice for my self.. including picking her up from the floor once when she'd slipped (she wasn't injured but couldn't get up). So I Need the exercising for my fitness and sanity :-) We are getting her a Live Alert system with that medalion you wear and a button you can push.. that will give her, and me and my daughter much peace of mind. Praying for all, love and blessings, Carla in RI
