Guest guest
Hope they help June. I can't wait to go try them. I may go today if I can muster up some ambition to go out. I love the fact that they can be thrown in the washer and put right back on our feet. Great for when I'm weeding the flowers. I like how colorful they are. Maybe we'll be styling in spite of our shoe limitations. I'm glad to hear that is improving. What a scare that was. a On Aug 9, 2005, at 11:48 AM, June Dixon wrote: > Thanks a, I went to their site and found a store that sells them > about 20 mins. from my house. > > Hugs > June > Â ---------- > > No virus found in this outgoing message. > Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. > Version: 7.0.338 / Virus Database: 267.10.4/66 - Release Date: > 8/9/2005 > > >
Guest guest
What style did you try, the clog type or sandal? I got the sandals yesterday and they are the most wonderful thing I've ever put on my feet. I'm not sure why you found them heavy. I've never had anything so light on my feet in my life. I haven't tried the clog type and I think that is what you tried. Although they seem light in weight, they seem clunky. They didn't have my size in the clog, so I didn't get to try them so I'm only guessing. They really run big. I'm an 8 1/2 but in the sandal type I only wear a 7. I'm sorry they didn't work out for you. We'll keep our eyes open for something else. I'm so grateful to whoever told the group about them. It is such a battle to find something comfortable. a On Aug 12, 2005, at 7:14 PM, June Dixon wrote: > a, I tried walking in them but I found them way too heavy which, > in turn, made my bad ankle feel worse. Guest guest
a, I used the wrong word when I said heavy, sorry. I meant clunky, like too much shoe for my feet and felt like I would trip too easily in them. I was trying on the clogs. I didn't even see any sandals so maybe I will try another store. The store I went to is in a trendy part of the city and stocked mostly high end gardening items. Thanks for letting me know. What color did you get? The clogs I tried were bright green. Guest guest
I got the " Nile " , which is a sandal. They also make a flip flop, but I can't wear anything between my toes. This is what I got in bright neon orange: http://www.crocs.com/consumer/product_details/nile/ You can see me coming a mile away LOL! Right now they are so backordered that you may not find them very easily. The store I went to only had small and very large sizes and he said he won't get any in until November. He said only stores that get them in quantity are getting deliveries because they can't make them fast enough. I want the lime green and the blue. I also think the beach clogs are very clunky. I prefer the open toe. I hope you can find them! a On Aug 13, 2005, at 7:20 AM, June Dixon wrote: > a, I used the wrong word when I said heavy, sorry. Guest guest
Thanks a, I found a couple more stores that carry these and will try to get the sandals. I like the green and if they are comfortable, I want them for sure. Since I had the surgery on my feet, I now take a 5 or 6 as before I wore a 7 so even the small size clog was too big. I have a bone falling down underneath my big toe and if these sandals would give me some cushioning it would be a blessing. Guest guest
Betty, I have some Crocs. They are indeed ugly, but they are light and comfortable. I agree that they don't offer a lot of support, but the cushioning is decent. They're easy to slip on (I wear them as a clog with the strap up on top of my foot) and perfect for situations where you don't have to do a lot of standing or walking, such as going to a movie. Not an MD I'll tell you where to go! Mayo Clinic in Rochester http://www.mayoclinic.org/rochester s Hopkins Medicine http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org Re: [ ] > Have you seen the UGLY Crocs? Guest guest
For my feet I wore moccasins and sprayed well with cedarcide, or orange guard. Sprayed legs, ankles, back, face, neck, with MMS every whisp > > Hey everyone. I feel I very rarely have good advice to share about being in " mite hell " but I do know that wearing Crocs around the house helps. I wash the twice daily while showering before wearing them again. I also believe they have some antibacterial coating or something on them as well. Constantly cleaning hands and feet have proved to be very important while dealing with this. Also, I can put a lot of oils, cream and soaps on my skin, but I only use Dove White soap in my private areas, I have not had a lot of issues with bugs getting in private areas since this started for me-not exactly sure why....if only I can get and KEEP the bugs out of my hair. I can sometimea get my hair to a manageable point, but how do I avoid re-infesting??? Argh. >

Guest guest
Crocs are an important part of our protocol as well. LOVE them and spray them down with a vinegar/peroxide 5:1 mix (sometimes with salt) when I shower before bed. > > Hey everyone. Guest guest
We wore crocs all the time too and used to wear them in the shower too. I found out that they do shrink in very hot water in the washer. Hubbie still wears his crocs as soon as he gets home from work changes into them. Washes them all the time too.
